Anthropic has released a large, open-source reference toolkit for AI agents in financial services. The repository, published under Apache 2.0, contains end-to-end workflow agents, vertical skill bundles, MCP data connectors, and Managed Agent deployment templates covering investment banking, equity research, private equity, wealth management, fund administration, and operations.
The toolkit includes named agents for specific workflows: Pitch Agent (comps, precedents, LBO to branded pitch deck), Market Researcher, Earnings Reviewer, Model Builder (DCF, LBO, 3-statement models live in Excel), GL Reconciler, Month-End Closer, KYC Screener, and more. Each agent bundles its own skills and is available both as a Claude Cowork plugin and as a Claude Managed Agent template deployable via the /v1/agents API.
MCP integrations connect to 12 data providers including S&P Global, FactSet, Moody's, LSEG, PitchBook, Morningstar, and Daloopa. The toolkit also includes partner-built plugins from LSEG and S&P Global for bond relative value, swap curves, and earnings previews.
Notably, the repository also includes admin tooling for provisioning the Claude Microsoft 365 add-in against custom cloud backends (Vertex AI, Bedrock, or internal LLM gateways), suggesting Anthropic is positioning Claude as a platform for enterprise financial workflows rather than just a chatbot.
