Pre-event coverage suggests Google will lean on live, on-device AI demonstrations rather than hardware specs as the main event — a bet that Gemini is now the connective tissue across Search, Workspace, Android and Pixel silicon.

Pricing is the other storyline. Reporting points to increases across the Pixel 11 range as component costs rise, and analysts will be watching whether Google positions the lineup above or below the competition. The real test, reviewers note, isn't the chip node or the LED — it's whether Google can demonstrate an on-device AI feature people actually reach for every day, the way Magic Eraser or Call Screen became Pixel habits in past years.
