AI video generation startup Higgsfield announced a $400 million Series B financing round on Monday, valuing the company at $5.4 billion — more than quadrupling its valuation in just six months as demand for AI-generated video content explodes across advertising, entertainment, and social media.
The round was led by new investors including Goldman Sachs, Intel Capital, and DST Global, alongside existing backers. The rapid valuation jump — from roughly $1.3 billion to $5.4 billion — reflects the company's steep revenue growth trajectory and the broader investor conviction that AI video will be one of the largest content creation markets.
Higgsfield has positioned itself as a leading platform for generating professional-quality video content using AI models, competing with well-funded rivals like Runway, Pika, and Stability AI. The company's technology enables brands and creators to produce video ads, product demonstrations, and social media content at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional production.
The funding comes amid a broader surge in AI video investment. Runway raised at a $4 billion valuation earlier this year, while Pika recently launched new audio models to complement its video generation capabilities. The combined investment flowing into AI video startups now exceeds $10 billion.
Higgsfield CEO said the new capital would be used to expand the company's model capabilities, scale its cloud infrastructure, and pursue enterprise partnerships. The company plans to double its headcount over the next 12 months.
