Conveo, an AI startup that automates customer interviews and qualitative research, has raised a $50 million Series A round led by DST Global, per Axios.
The company's platform uses AI to conduct customer interviews in 15 languages, generating real-time transcripts and analysis that distill market insights from qualitative conversations. Conveo positions itself as a replacement for traditional survey platforms and human-led focus groups, claiming to deliver results in hours rather than weeks.
The raise signals growing investor confidence in AI-native market research tools, a segment that has been disrupted by the same large language models that power Conveo's own platform. The consumer insights automation space has seen increasing activity as enterprises seek to move beyond static surveys toward more dynamic, conversational data collection methods.
Conveo joins a crowded field that includes companies like Dovetail,EnjoyHQ, and traditional Qualtrics, though its AI-first approach and multilingual capabilities differentiate it from legacy platforms. The funding will be used to expand the company's language coverage, deepen integration with enterprise research workflows, and scale its sales team.
The Series A values Conveo at a level that reflects the broader AI startup premium, though specific valuation details were not disclosed. DST Global, the investment vehicle of tech billionaire Yuri Milner, has been an active investor in AI-native companies across enterprise and consumer segments.
