A new set of experiments reports that GPT-6 Astra can name what a small network was trained on, write playable networks from scratch without gradients, and unpick Qwen3.5-0.8B's reasoning loops by editing 131,072 weights. The authors call it Weight-Space Programming; skeptics say a competent researcher could have done the same with a few lines of NumPy.
